# Service Rat

> Service Rat is a free social deduction mobile game for 5–10 players, available on Android and iOS. Players are secretly divided into Workers, Saboteurs, and The Rat in a corporate-themed adaptation inspired by Secret Hitler and Mafia. The game supports Pass & Play, LAN multiplayer, and global online multiplayer. It is free to download with no account required. Available in English, Russian, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Ukrainian.

## Game Facts

- Players: 5–10 (AI bots fill empty slots; minimum 1 human player)
- Roles: Worker (majority faction), Saboteur (hidden minority), The Rat (single secret leader allied with Saboteurs)
- Win condition (Workers): Enact 5 Modernization blueprints, or Terminate The Rat via CEO Directive
- Win condition (Saboteurs/The Rat): Enact 6 Sabotage blueprints, or elect The Rat as Chief Engineer when 3+ Sabotage blueprints are already on the board
- Blueprint deck: 17 total cards — 6 Modernization, 11 Sabotage (intentionally biased against Workers)
- Game flow: CEO nominates Chief Engineer → all players vote → if approved, CEO draws 3 blueprints, secretly discards 1, passes 2 to Chief Engineer → Chief Engineer enacts 1
- Chaos rule: Three consecutive failed nominations trigger "Chaos on the Floor" — the top blueprint is automatically enacted without player input; downtime tracker resets to zero
- CEO Directives (unlocked by Sabotage milestones, vary by player count): Personnel Audit, Blueprint Preview, Extraordinary Shift, Termination
- Veto Power: Unlocks after 5 Sabotage blueprints are enacted. Chief Engineer may request veto; CEO approves (both discarded, downtime +1) or denies (Chief Engineer enacts one)
- Term limits: Previous CEO and previous Chief Engineer cannot be nominated next shift (≤5 alive: only previous CEO is term-limited)
- Role knowledge: Saboteurs know each other and The Rat's identity. The Rat does NOT know who the Saboteurs are.
