1. Overview
Service Rat ("the App") is a local pass-and-play social deduction game. We believe that office secrets should stay in the office. This policy outlines how your data is handled — or rather, how we avoid handling it.
The App is designed to function without user accounts or registration. We do not collect your real name, email, or any directly identifying personal information.
2. Data Handling & Storage
Local Data: All game-related data, including player nicknames entered during a shift, is stored strictly on your device's local storage. This data is never transmitted to our servers or any third-party databases. Once you reset the game or delete the App, this data is purged.
Automatic Data Collection: We use industry-standard tools to monitor App performance. These services collect anonymous technical data, such as device model, OS version, and time spent in the App. No personal files or private communication are ever accessed.
3. Third-Party Services
To maintain production standards, we integrate the following services from Google LLC:
Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: Used to track anonymous usage patterns and technical bugs. This helps us fix crashes before the "Chief Engineer" finds out.
firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Unity Ads (Unity Technologies): Used to display optional rewarded ads. Unity Ads may collect your device's advertising ID and anonymous gameplay data to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance. You can reset your advertising ID or opt-out of personalized ads in your device settings.

4. Children's Privacy
Service Rat is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided identifiable data through third-party services, please contact us for immediate remediation.
5. CCPA & GDPR Compliance
Depending on your location, you have rights regarding your data. Since we do not store personal information on our servers, we fulfill these rights by:
- Right to Deletion: Simply clear the App cache or uninstall the App to remove all local data.
- Right to Opt-Out: You can opt-out of anonymous analytics via the App settings and manage ad personalization in your system settings.
6. Changes to This Policy
As the enterprise evolves, we may update this report. Any changes will be posted here. Continued use of the App signifies your acceptance of the updated terms.
